Vision Statement:

The Women's Ministry of River Oaks Church seeks to glorify, enjoy, and pursue God and His Kingdom in Christ. With our words and actions, we desire to reach others to live and proclaim the truth of God's Word in every sphere and context, and practice mercy with justice. 
 

Mission Statement:

To accomplish the vision of River Oaks Presbyterian Church in offering the women in our church and in our communities opportunities for spiritual and relational growth. We desire to encourage women to use their spiritual giftedness for God's glory in our church, community, and beyond.
 

Goal Statement:

The goal of Women's Ministry at River Oaks Presbyterian Church is to help every woman better understand the covenant of grace and the role it plays in her life and the life of the church. We desire to provide a framework, built on and sustained by prayer that will:

• teach women a Biblical perspective of their covenantal relationship with Christ, their families, the church, and their community
• exhort women to fulfill and understand their helper design
• teach women to nurture and care for one another, and to glorify God by obeying the Titus mandate (Titus 2: 1-5)
• teach and provide opportunities to be instruments of compassion (Micah 6:8)
• equip and provide opportunities for women in roles of service and leadership within the church under the guidance and leadership of the Elders
