Women's Ministry

Women’s Ministry

Are you new to the Bible? Would you like to develop a regular discipline of time in God’s Word but find it hard to stay consistent? God has revealed Himself to us through his Word so this is our starting point, but Bible study can be intimidating.

Come, join us as we study whole books of the Bible together. We try to set aside big words and Christian jargon as we look directly at what God’s Word says. We come with our questions and are excited when we have those “Aha!” moments of understanding. Bible study is at the heart of our ministry – with 11-week studies in the Fall and Spring, offered during the day and evening. Women also meet with other women one-to-one to read the Bible and pray for each other.

We have two great opportunities for you to consider. Women’s Studies here

We welcome women from all stages of life! There is a healthy mix of age groups and marital statuses. We are intentional in connecting with women who are both younger and older than we are. In this way, wisdom and perspective are naturally shared. We recognize that young moms especially need some time away to be refreshed so we offer free childcare by approved volunteers at every event we sponsor.

Friendships, Fun, & Creativity
The year is sprinkled with fun activities – some more formal like brunches or painting workshops, others more spontaneous like movie nights, ice cream crawls, or time at the Springs. We often invite the high school girls to join us – giving them a glimpse of genuine, grace-giving friendships with lots of giggles thrown in!

Supportive & Encouraging
Life together brings times of joy and sorrow. We provide a meal ministry to those going through difficult times and also look for other practical ways we can carry each other’s burdens. We pray for each other. We also love to celebrate! We host bridal showers and baby showers for the first-borns.

Life Lived Together Outside the Four Walls of the Church
Any given week you may hear of women getting together to cook up a batch of freezer meals, pass on their wisdom about budgeting, figure out how to tame an out of control schedule … all those practical things you might turn to a mother or sister for. These interconnections are at the heart of our community. We hope you will join us!
